Engine is noticeably quieter and fume free. Visible smoke almost non-existent.  Fitted with optional Yanmar 2nd alternator – 24 Volt. Fitted with PSS shaft seal. The original engine which was repowered was a horizontal configured Volvo Penta THAMD70B rated at 250hp. Published weight of the removed engine & gear was 980kg. The new Yanmar engine & gear package has a total weight of only 661kgs, a saving of 319kg together with a power increase of 190hp.
