The Tideways Launch is the perfect day boat or cruising boat. She is based off old Port Phillip cruisers, with the foundation laid by that of fishing and working boats. The Tideways is sturdy, and has cruising capacity to go further afield, such as down to Wilson’s Prom, or even Hobart and beyond. She is modular and has the potential to be utilised for a variety of purposes. She has all the basic offerings, a galley, large bed, and a day bed.

Her design is timeless and the level of workmanship by the Wooden Boatshop skilled shipwrights throughout the whole build is superb. The high torque combined with the low rated speed as offered by the John Deere 4045TFM50 marine engine provides a very fuel efficient and low noise propulsion solution that compliments the style and grace of this latest build “ Maggie”

Such is the overall performance offered by the John Deere 4045TFM50 it is the standard engine of choice for this Tideways vessel series and is one that the Power Equipment team is very proud to be involved with.

One key point that is worth highlighting is the whole build inclusive of mechanical , electrical, upholstery, engineering and plumbing systems are all done in house by the various qualified tradespersons employed by the Wooden Boatshop.
