Pitcairn is the least populated territory in the world situated in the middle of the Pacific Ocean - more than 3000 miles from any continent.

Reliability and easy maintenance is critical for any equipment in this region so naturally Yanmar was a perfect choice for this new multi-use vessel which provides ship to shore transfers, for all goods, supplies and passengers. Design also caters for a removable passenger pod which can carry up to 40 people from visiting cruise ships as well as the ability to operate at 20 knots in a medivac role to the nearest air strip which is some 550kms away from Pitcairn.
