HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
Looking back on our journey, it is hard to believe how far we have come, especially when we think about our beginnings. Everything started in the beautiful Gulf of Poets in Italy, where four experienced marine managers and engineers turned a garage idea into Smartgyro. With over 30 years of experience, they pioneered marine stabilization technology. From the initial promising stages of crafting the first prototype, numerous adjustments were made, both in hardware and software. Each iteration was driven by an unwavering commitment to perfection, aiming to achieve unparalleled stabilizing experience. Evolving from a modest prototype to a revolutionary product, Smartgyro gained sea legs with a 92% roll stabilization success during the very first sea trial.

Fast forward ten years, and Smartgyro stands as a testament to perseverance, innovation, and unwavering commitment. Our gyro stabilizers have become synonymous with excellence, ensuring boaters and enthusiasts enjoy stability and comfort amidst challenging sea conditions. But our journey didn’t stop there. In our pursuit of excellence, we sought partnerships that would amplify our capabilities and reach. Such as our partnership with YANMAR, which fuelled global success. Remarkably, by 2022, Smartgyro’s exponential growth necessitated a larger La Spezia headquarters, tripling the team to meet the escalating demand and deliver top-notch stabilizers worldwide.
