JCB is committed to constant innovation: we challenge accepted knowledge and use our understanding to develop more productive, more powerful and more profitable machines
- Superior Power at lower engine speeds
- Robustness
- Reliablity
- Low noise (89dba at 1m max)
- High low-speed torque
The development of the Dieselmax engine is typical of JCB innovation. Its simple design - aimed specifically at mid range off-highway equipment - gives it exceptional performance: high power, high torque at low revs, with low fuel consumption and low noise (89dBA).
Four valves per cylinder ensure optimum combustion performance and reduce emissions; the heavy duty bedplate improves rigidity compared to conventional end cap design, reducing vibrations; and the rear gear train technology ensures low noise. It also has two PTOs and is serviced from one side for maximum versatility and simplicity.
Because we started with a clean sheet of paper we looked forward to 2011 and beyond, designing the engine to comply with Tier 2/Stage 2, Tier 3/Stage 3a and then Tier 4/Stage 4 emissions legislation. So your investment today is well protected into the future. With NA, TC, TCA and TCAE CR variants, we offer power ratings from 55.3kW - 120kW (74hp - 161hp) or 50kVA to 110kVA Prime (generator sets).
JCB Dieselmax G-Drive Power Pack
JCB Dieselmax G-Drive power packs are OEM-ready for all prime
and standby power applications. They include JCB engineered
tropical rated cooling packages, pusher fan, air cleaner, primary
and secondary fuel filtration systems, electronic governor kits,
heavy duty mounting systems and a range of JCB engineered options
for tailor made package solutions.
The engines are the same trusted and reliable models as utilised in
the mobile equipment and IPU ranges. The difference is the addition
of a constant speed fuel and speed governing system and options
further relative to the Power Generation Industry sectors.
Core product focus has been on power density for exceptionally
competitive package / canopy size, fuel efficiency, cleaner
emissions and class beating load acceptance characteristics.
Development has been once again carried out with the over riding
aim and ambition to provide customers with real value and the best
solution for any given power range.
A relatively recent example of this attitude and prime focus has
been the development of a 4.8 litre, four cylinder 140kVa G-Drive
package. When compared with it`s six cylinder rivals obvious
benefits can begin to be realised in terms of £`s per kVa and
providing the OEM's with the opportunity to create a smaller and
more cost effective package in this important power node.
